5:45 PM Sept 26 2024. This is not a highly controlled test. Everyone just used “whatever antenna they had” and we tried to see who could hear whom. The impact of GOOD ANTENNAS (WB2FKO) and the impact of 300-Foot Coax and 270-foot “6-meter” antenna were OBVIOUS. What amazed me was that this many people could hear each other. 6 meter intra-county does not depend on the ionosphere. With decent antennas at good heights, this could be a very useful solution. Brett Wallace made a heroic attempt from a shelter.
